Orders & Purchasing

You can purchase directly through our website. For high jewellery pieces or rare stones above a certain value, we strongly recommend arranging a private viewing first. Contact us to schedule one at no obligation.

Yes, absolutely. Private viewings are available in Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai by appointment. We also offer video consultations for international clients. Write to us at riverajewelsbydhanshree@gmail.com to arrange.

For significant purchases, we are open to discussing a structured payment arrangement. This is handled case by case and agreed in writing before any work or reservation is confirmed. Please contact us to discuss.

In most cases, yes. Given that many of our pieces are one-of-one, we can hold a piece for up to 48 hours on request. For longer holds, a deposit may be required.

Bespoke & Custom Design

We begin with a consultation — in person or by video — to understand your vision, style preferences, and budget. We then present design concepts and stone options. Once approved, our craftsmen in Jaipur create your piece. The full process typically takes 6–12 weeks depending on complexity.

Yes. We accept client-supplied gemstones for setting, subject to assessment of their condition and suitability. We recommend a consultation before you send anything to us.

A 50% deposit is required to commence any bespoke commission. This covers materials procurement. The remaining 50% is due before dispatch. Deposits are non-refundable once production has begun.

Gemstones & Certification

Our investment-grade and high jewellery emeralds are accompanied by gemological reports from recognised laboratories including GRS, Gübelin, and SSEF. Everyday luxury pieces may not carry individual certificates but are sourced with the same rigour.

Emeralds are routinely clarity-treated with oil or resin to improve their visual appearance. 'No-oil' denotes an untreated stone — extremely rare and commanding a significant premium. 'Minor oil' indicates only the most minimal treatment. Our gemological reports confirm treatment status.

Emeralds should be cleaned gently with a soft, damp cloth — never with ultrasonic cleaners or steam, as these can disturb any oil treatment. Remove emerald jewellery before swimming or applying perfume and cosmetics. Store separately to prevent surface scratching.

Yes. Our private stone reserve includes Colombian, Zambian, and Brazilian emeralds, as well as GIA and IGI certified diamonds. Access to the reserve is through private consultation only.

Shipping & Returns

Yes. We ship to most countries worldwide via fully insured private courier. All international shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. Please see our Shipping page for full details and timelines.

Domestic orders within India arrive in 3–5 business days. International orders typically take 7–12 business days. Bespoke pieces require additional lead time which we will communicate to you before confirming your commission.

Ready-to-ship pieces may be returned within 7 days of receipt, provided they are unworn and in original condition. Bespoke and custom pieces are non-returnable. Please visit our Returns & Refunds page for full details.

Care & Repairs

We assess repairs on a case-by-case basis. If the piece involves emeralds or diamonds and our craftsmen can work with it responsibly, we are happy to help. Please contact us with photographs before sending anything.

All Rivera pieces carry a one-year craftsmanship warranty covering manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear, damage from improper care, and loss are not covered. We offer a complimentary inspection service — simply bring or send your piece to us.
